Tulun

When we started the roundtrip our first stop was in Tulun. This old Maya town, right at the Caribbean ocean had its peak time in the late classic periode from 900 till 1521 BC. It's one of a few towns that had a wall around the city. The ancient name of the town was probably Zama which mean morning or sunrise. When the spanish arrived in the area, Tulun was still a prosperous town. Tulun mean wall.
