This huge marble theater you
will find close to the Alemda park. They perform theatersplays
and orcestral performances. Inside you will find huge pictures of
Rufino Tamayo, Diego Riveras, Siquentios and Orozcos Gerardo
Murillo, some of the most famous mexican painters, The president
wanted to have the house finised in 1910 to celebrate the
100-aniversary ofthe start for the independence. But the ground
was too weak for such heavy building, so the work had to be
stopped, and that is why the building was finised in 1934. The
outside is new classical style, while inside is Art Deco. Very
interesting style. I present some of these exiting pictures here.
