Zukalo

As in every city in Mexico also Puebla has its Zukalo. I arrived sunday afternoon, and there were so much happening around the Zuakalo and lots of people were out having fun. The area were closed for cars so you could walk around without being afraid of being run down by a car.

I present pitures here from the Zukalo area and include the Cathedral. It was build during 1550 - 1649 and with its 69 meter high towers it is the second largest in Mexico. The styles are both strong rennecance and early barok. A lot of the facades of the houses in the central part of Puebla are covered in tiles, and its quite interesting to walk around and look at the different patterns they are made into.
