At the very tip of the island you find
Andenes, a small town with a lot to show of. Best know are the
whale safaries that are organized from here and take you out on
the open ocen to have a look at the big whales out there. But as
most places along the long coast, fishing has had a very
important part of the development and history. While waiting for
the trip on the sea, here are something of what you can see.
There is also a free sight towards the north here, which mean you
will have a good view of the midnight sun, no mountain that block
the sight at midnight, when the sun is still above the surface of
the ocean.
