Norge - Norway - Noreg
Finmark - Grense Jacobs elv (-river)

After landing we borrowed a car and started to explore the most easterly part of Norway. Actually if you follow the latitude, you will pass Istanbul and Cairo. First trip was to follow one part of the borderarea between Norway and Russia. Totally is the border 196 km long, and we managed to follow a long part of it. Here we drive along Grense Jacobselv towards the north, and after passing the small nice chapel of King Oscar II (last king of Norway-Sweden) we came to the end of the road, and out from there are the huge Barents sea, which I experienced in storm when I was in the navy, ages ago. But this time it was very calm and nice.

Flying to the north over the mountains
Not much sign of spring here yet. Grense Jacobselv (river) is the border
Across the river is Russia, our markers are yellow, theirs green and red
Small signs of spring around King Oscar II's chappel
At the end of the road, and out there is the Barents sea
Melting snow make rivers big
