North district.
To visit the northern part of Thailand is very interesting. Here are some pictures from Chang Mai and Chang Rai region, and both are worth a visit. Don't forget to take a ride on the Mekong river that runs down the area. Maybe you will take a short visit to Laos too, it's just across the river.
