Uruguay
Over the Andes

When I continued to the next destination of the trip, I had the pleasure to sit by the window, and the weather was perfect. Here are some of the pictures I got from the window. It's impressive to fly over such tall mountains, and see how cold it must be, as all lakes were still frosen. I also discovered some human activities up there, but what they are doing I don't know. When we arrived at the Pacific coast, we could see the Pan-American highway along the coast. Have a look, and hope you enjoy the pictures. Click on the pics to get a large version

The landscape looks both flat and steep as we flew across

Could this be an old volcano?
